DELF & DALF Diplomas

Alliance Française de Canberra is an official examination center for DELF and DALF diplomas.

DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) & DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) were created in 1985 by the French Ministry of Education. They propose :
- Six independent diplomas, each corresponding to one of the six levels of the Common European Framework of References for Languages;
- Compulsory entry test dispensed with ;
- Each diploma evaluates the following skills: oral and written comprehension and expression.
- These diplomas can be sat for and obtained independently from each other, in the same country or in a different country and without time limit.

The national centre of DELF & DALF
The Fédération of Alliances Françaises in Australia is the National Centre for all DELF and DALF exams organised in Australia. All documents are centralised in order to get the French Ministry of Education approval through the DELF/DALF commission nationale in France.

Unit B1, Unit B2:  $100
Unit C1, Unit C2:  $120

Session Juniors:   $70

DELF Prim

Le DELF Prim constitue le premier échelon de la série des DELF DALF, diplômes de français langue étrangère du ministère français de l'Éducation nationale.

Le DELF Prim s'adresse à tous les enfants débutants en français langue étrangère, engagés dans des études correspondant au niveau élémentaire français ou de l'âge requis pour les poursuivre selon la réglementation en vigueur dans leur pays. l donne droit à la délivrance d'un diplôme identique à celui de la version tous publics.

Le DELF Prim est constitué de diplômes indépendants les uns des autres, correspondant aux premiers niveaux du Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues (CECRL).
