Adult group courses - General French

All our courses follow the 6 levels recommended by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) from the European Council and our pedagogy entirely integrates its recommendations.

Breakthrough A1 (Découverte A1)

Waystage A2 (Intermédiaire A2)

Threshold B1 (Seuil B1)

Advanced B2 (Avancé B2)

Beginners Level is divided into 2 stages : Breakthrough A1.1, Breakthrough A1.2.
It takes 2 sessions to cove each leve of 80 hours of leaning French

Intermediate Level is divided into 4 stages: Waystage A2.1, A2.2, A2.3, A2.4
It takes 4 sessions to cover the in or 120 hours of learning French.

Threshold Level is divided into 4 stages : Threshold B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B1.4
It takes 4 sessions to cover the in or 120 hours of learning French.

Advanced level is divided into 4 stages: Advance B2.1, B2.2, B2.3, B2.4
It takes 4 sessions to cover the in or 120 hours of learning French.

All the levels are proposed for each term.

Note that private classes can be organised for the Proficiency C1 and Mastery C2 levels.

Choose your pace !
Learn French at your own pace and choose between
• the semi-intensive formula:
2 hours a week over 10 weeks : morning (10am-12pm); afternoon (1-3pm); evenings (6-8pm)

• the intensive formula:
4 hours a week over 10 weeks : evenings (twice a week, 6-8pm) or Saturday mornings (9am-1pm)

Note that the difference between A1.1 and A1.11 refers to the course formats.
A1.1 is achieved in 40 hours, A1.11 in 20 hours. You will need to achieve the A1.11 and A1.12 classes to complete the A1.1 level.
