Membership Membership of the Alliance is required upon enrolment in any course. Please bring your receipt to the first class and keep your membership card handy when you wish to borrow books, CDs or videos, buy tickets for our cultural events at concessionary rates or enrol in a new class.
FeesNo enrolment can be accepted unless payment is made in full before the first lesson of the session.
Contact the administration for any other specific payment arrangements.
Fees cannot be refunded or transferred in any case of cancellation by the student once the term has started.
The Alliance Française cannot be held responsible for changes in students work commitments or personal circumstances. Class fees cannot be transferred to private lessons. Fees do not include textbooks unless otherwise specified. All prices are inclusive of GST.
Any student who has been accepted into and paid for a course who withdraws at least 5 working days prior to the commencement of that course, will be entitled to a refund less 20% processing fee. Application for refund must be addressed in writing to the Director.
Classes
The average size for each class is 7 to 14 students. Any class may be cancelled by the Alliance Française if the minimum of 7 enrolments is not obtained. Students may in this case request a transfer to another class, a credit, or a full refund of fees paid.
Public Holidays
Alliance Française will not hold classes on ACT public holidays. Classes will then be rescheduled to a suitable time in the session.
