The very popular Sally Greenaway Project performing on this night presents some of the best local talent in Canberra. The Project features Marie Le Brun's warm vocal tones, Tim Whickam on violin, Joe Taylor on saxophones, Hannah James on double bass, Ed Rodrigues on drums and percussion, and Sally tinkling the ivories.
Last year Sally won the National Big Band Composition Competition, so expect a beautifully arranged set of pieces, including fresh compositions and arrangements exploring a wide spectrum of colours, textures and moods.
This is one of Sally's last gigs for the year before jetting off to London in August to study film composition at the Royal College of Music.
We recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment!
