With more than 2,450 sessions nation-wide, the 27th showing of the Alliance Française French Film Festival has once again entertained and stimulated the audience with a richly diverse programme comprising 48 films.
Screening in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart, more than 168,000 festival admissions were recorded in the 20 participating cinemas.

The nation’s most captivating film event, is now returning for its 28th annual season. It is not only the biggest film festival in Australia; it is also the biggest festival of French films outside of France.
Proudly presented by the six main Alliances Françaises and in association with the Embassy of France in Australia, the Festival will be once again hosted by its long-term exhibition partner, Palace Cinemas.
The Festival will present you with the best of contemporary French Cinema which has never been more popular in Australia than it is right now. The Alliance Française French Film Festival is displaying a dynamic calendar of events and remains a leading multi-cultural film celebration in Australia.
