Trio Dali is an ensemble of soloists, who come together for the love of playing chamber music. Such pleasure in performing is a pleasure for the listener, too. For this tour, presented by Musica Viva, the Trio have chosen their favourite work to open this program: Beethoven’s op 1 no 1.is a fresh and innovative group of soloists who come together for the love of chamber music.

Our exclusive Meet the Artist event in French will take place on Level 5 of Llewellyn Hall straight after the concert, when Trio Dali’s pianist Amandine Savary will be available to talk about her work and take questions from the audience.

Amandine Savary, piano

Acclaimed pianist Amandine Savary studied in France and the UK, with the support of numerous foundations and scholarships including the Park Lane Group, the Hattori Foundation and the Worshipful Company of Musicians. She has performed in the leading venues in London, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Paris and Brussels, and appeared with numerous orchestras across Europe. Her recent recording of Bach Toccatas received a rapturous response from critics including the prestigious Diapason d’or; four stars from Le Monde de la Musique; and ‘Editor’s Choice’ for Gramophone magazine. As a chamber player, as well as Trio Dali she has appeared with esteemed fellow artists Alfred Brendel, Augustin Dumay, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Lawrence Power, Paul Neubauer, and Michel Portal.
