Introduction to French Food and Wine (Without Dinner)
This class examines the fascinating history of French gastronomy including its cuisine, wine and cheese... We will look at how French gastronomy has evolved from the Middle Ages until now, the great chefs who have revolutionised world cuisine and the "terroir" (regional food). You will also learn how to create washed rind, soft and hard cheeses and the right way to drink a glass of wine...! A real French adventure to understand the foundations of the French spirit and culture.
