Online Movie Night discussion in French: Ne le dis à personne

Tuesday 5 October 6 :00pm-7:30pm

Come and join us for a new discussion in French about the movie "Ne le dis à personne" by French actor and Director Guillaume Canet.

Synopsis:

Based on Harlan Coben's international best selling thriller about pediatrician Alexandre Beck who still grieves the murder of his beloved wife Margot Beck eight years earlier. When two bodies are found near the scene of the crime, the police reopen the case and Alex becomes a suspect again. The mystery deepens when Alex receives an anonymous email with a link to a video clip that seems to suggest Margot is somehow still alive and a message to "Tell No One." Written by Guillaume Canet and Philippe Lefebvre and starring François Cluzet, Kristin Scott Thomas, André Dussolier and Jean Rochefort, the film won four categories at the 2007 César Awards in France: Best Director (Guillaume Canet), Best Actor (François Cluzet), Best Editing and Best Music Written for a Film.

“Cluzet's brooding performance propels the movie, and writer-director Guillaume Canet skillfully orchestrates the cascading revelations.” J. R. Jones (Chicago Reader)

“Canny, refreshingly emotional and intuitive thriller.” Michael Sragow (Baltimore Sun)
