Fête de la Musique - World Music Day - FRIDAY JUNE 23rd

Celebrated in over 700 cities across 120 countries around the world; FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE is a exploration and showcase of live music FREE and open to the public!

The Alliance Française de Canberra supported by Clandestino Events is pround to invite you to the 2017 Canberra edition of this global musical event.

Boasting a ecletic line-up of musical acts and performances, this edition promises to stay true to the founding tenant of the day which is to make all genres of music freely accessible to the public.

From 6pm until LATE

Featuring a wide range of bands and performances including:

Zambezi Sounds (African Reggae Grooves)
DJ Dede Da Cruz (spinning Afro-Latin Caribeean Vibes)
Capoeira Senzala (Capoeira + Afro-Brazilian Music)
Telopea Park School Jazz Band
Raio de Sol  Community Samba Band
Matthew Lustri (Indian Raga inspired solo electric guitar)
Classical, Folk and World music
+ much more to be annoucned!

6PM - LATE

FOOD + DRINKS ON THE NIGHT (+ Happy Hour)

Wine from Bordeaux and Beyond.

Crêpes will be available on the night. 

Happy Hour from 8pm to 9pm
