COP21 events - Café scientifique - Exhibition Opening - 27 November 2015


27 November 2015, 5.30pm-8pm

From 30 November to 11 December, France will be hosting and presiding the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP21/CMP11. On this occasion, the network of Alliance française in Australia presents the 5th edition of its international photo contest with the theme “Climat, état d’urgence”. Alliance Française de Canberra in parternship with Australian French Association for Science and Technology (AFAS) are also proud to organise a café scientifique, after the opening.

Café scientifique "Climate change, Science and Policy; a difficult romance", 6-8pm
Enjoy a presentation and discussion in a cafe atmosphere with refreshments provided.

Exhibition "Climat, état d'urgence" (27 nov - 19 Dec)
Come to the Alliance to discover the exhibition organised by the Fondation Alliance française in Paris. The exhibition is supported by Yann Arthus Bertand (French photographer, journalist and environmentalist).
Opening by Isabelle Faure,  Chief Representative of the Fondation Alliance Française in Australia at 5.30pm.
