Take part in the local selection round of the Inter Alliances Défi at the Alliance Française de Canberra, a unique opportunity for our Term 2 learners to join an exciting international competition!
Open to all our Alliance Française learners, aged 18 and over with a minimum A2 level in French, the Défi is a fun quiz-based competition focused on French language and culture.
It's a 4 rounds competition organised by the Fondation des Alliances Françaises :
- 1 Local round (in person at the Alliance Française de Canberra on 1st May),
- 1 National round (online - date to be confirmed),
- 1 Asia-Pacific region round (online - 23 May),
- 1 International final in person in Brussels on 8 July
Successful participants of the local round in Canberra will go on to compete in the national selection then the Asia-Pacific region on 23 May, before the international final on 8 July!
Prizes are awarded at every round of the competition, with the ultimate prize being a trip to Brussels (capital city of Belgium) all expenses paid for the winner of the international final!
This event is completely free and exclusively open to our Term 2 learners who match the requirements.
