From 3 to 28 August, come visit the Alliance Française de Canberra for a vibrant new exhibition!

We’re thrilled to showcase for the first time the work of artist Robyn Sharp! Come and discover her stunning paintings of picturesque landscapes.

About the artist

Robyn Sharp

Robyn graduated from the National Art School in the early 70's. With her degree in Art History she has taught in schools in Sydney and California. Exhibiting publicly and privately in numerous galleries in Sydney, South Coast NSW, California, Toronto and London.

Robyn's wide travels and studies in art history, sculpture and life drawing have resulted in her artistic influences being comprehensive. Specialising in Chinese, Japanese and Renaissance Art, she also takes an active interest in contemporary art. 

Robyn has been the winner of several art awards and recently she was a finalist in the Mosman Art Prize and this year, 2026, won several prizes in the Kiama Show, including a first for Rural Landscape.

Robyn's philosophy is to explore art's full diversity of form, while keeping a mindful eye on the impact we have on the world emotionally, environmentally and physically.
