2022 Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Tasting

Join us for our yearly Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Tasting! 

On Thursday 17 November from 7pm, come and taste some delicious Beaujolais Nouveau at the Alliance Francaise of Canberra! 

Each fall, shortly after harvest, fresh and fruit-forward Beaujolais nouveau is released. Beaujolais nouveau is made from gamay grapes grown in France's Beaujolais region, an Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) located in Northeastern France near Lyon. Intended for immediate consumption, Beaujolais nouveau is a juicy number best served with a slight chill! 

For this special event, we have prepared a tasting plate "sur mesure" to accompany your Beaujolais Nouveau. Think charcuterie board, full of saucisson, cheese, olives and tapenades! 

Enjoy some live music for a celebration of Beaujolais Nouveau, like the French do!
