Join Alliance Française Canberra and Alliance Française Bretagne Saint-Malo for an immersive language and cultural journey on the Brittany coast. Spend two weeks in the historic walled city of Saint-Malo, improve your French in a real-life environment, and discover the rich heritage, landscapes and traditions of Brittany and Normandy.
What to expect
Participants will attend French classes in the mornings, with 15 hours of tuition per week from Monday to Friday. Classes are taught by qualified and experienced French as a Foreign Language teachers, with a focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and thematic workshops.
The programme also includes a variety of cultural activities and excursions, such as a discovery tour of Saint-Malo intra-muros, land sailing on the Emerald Coast, a visit to Mont-Saint-Michel, a mini-cruise in the bay of Saint-Malo, a Breton crêpes and galettes workshop, a storytelling walk in the forest of Brocéliande, and a weekend exploring the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy.

Several accommodation options will be available, including:
Host family, half-board
The most affordable option and a great opportunity for full language immersion.
Hotel or serviced residence
Available on request for participants who prefer more independence and comfort.
Local transport and supervision will be provided for the planned activities.
Price information
The final price is not fixed yet and will depend on international flight availability, the final number of participants, and the accommodation option selected.
Host family accommodation will be the most affordable option. Hotel or serviced residence options will also be available, but may increase the total cost.
